This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs your use of websites, mobile applications and technology operated by EVegah Mobility Private Limited (“EVegah”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
We, EVegah Mobility Private Limited, would like EVegah users to know that we may collect and use your personal information. The policies below are applicable to data and information collected when you use any of the following:
- EVegah Mobility Private Limited network of websites, including www.evegah.com (including any versions optimized for viewing on a wireless or tablet device)
- All email newsletters published or distributed by EVegah Mobility Private Limited
- All apps published by EVegah Mobility Private Limited, including the “EVegah” app

- All other interactive features and communications provided by EVegah Mobility Private Limited (the “App”), however accessed and/or used, that are operated by us, made available by us, or produced and maintained by us, and our related companies (collectively, “EVegah” or “we”, “us”, or “our”)
We have established this Privacy Policy to ensure that you understand what kinds of personal information we may gather during your use of this App, why we gather your information, how we use that information, when we might disclose your personal information, and how you can manage your personal information.
Please note that the practices described in this Privacy Policy apply to information gathered online through our App and websites, and by our customer service personnel. It does not apply to information that you share with organizations to which we may link or who may link to us, or information that we may receive about you from other organizations.
By using our App, you accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App. We reserve the right to revise the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time without notice. Your continued use of our App following changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes. If we intend to apply changes to this Privacy Policy retroactively or to personal information already in our possession, we will notify you of the modifications or amendments.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our User Agreement available at www.evegah.com, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information Collection and Use
We may request you to provide personally identifiable information for a better experience while using our Service. This may include, but is not limited to, location, name, and address.
We collect two basic types of information:
- Personal Information
- Non-Personal Information
The information you share with us will be retained and used as explained in this Privacy Policy.
The EVegah App may use third-party services for user KYC via Aadhaar or other government-issued ID verification that may collect information used to identify you.
2. Personal Information
You may browse the App without submitting personal information. However, certain features and Services can be accessed only upon submission of required personal information. The most common ways in which we may collect your personal information include:
- When you register for an account on the EVegah App
- When you use the EVegah App to refer friends
- When you submit payment information (for adding money, paying rental fees, or deposits)
- When Aadhaar/Driving License/other government ID details are provided for KYC verification
- Profile information (personal and non-personal) provided in the EVegah App user profile
- When you share ride details on social media authorized by you
- When you participate in EVegah ratings, surveys or promotions
- When you sign up to receive alerts via email, SMS or instant messages
- When you request assistance, customer service or support
- When you submit data or content where permitted
- When you knowingly volunteer personal information anywhere on the App
3. Log Data
When you use our Service and an error occurs in the App, we may collect data and information (through third-party products) on your device called Log Data. Log Data may include:
- Device Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Device name
- Operating system version
- App configuration at the time of use
- Time and date of use
- Duration of session
- Other diagnostics and statistics
We may also collect device information about the computer, browser, mobile device or other device used to access the App, including IP address, Geolocation (if enabled), Unique device identifiers, Browser type and language, and Transactional activity.
When you use the App, a third-party server or we may collect information about your use of the App including GPS routes and GPS status.
We may also collect device information about EVegah vehicles including timestamps and battery status, along with traffic data and log files such as access time/date, crash reports, session IDs, and referring App addresses.
4. Collection of Source IP Address / Location Information
We may collect your IP address and location information to:
- Provide services properly (unlock/lock, ride tracking, theft prevention)
- Improve safety and compliance
- Investigate fraud or misuse
- Provide customer support and dispute resolution
5. Information Collected from Other Sources
We may collect information about you from offline interactions, service partners involved in verification or payments, and credit reporting agencies (where permitted) to assess risk or credit usage. This information helps us verify, update our records and improve our services.
6. Third-Party Personal Information Collected Through Refer-a-Friend
If you refer someone to EVegah, we may ask for your contact’s name and email address or phone number. We may send them a one-time invitation message. We retain this information to send the referral invitation and track referral program performance. Your contact may request removal by writing to info@evegah.com.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13 years. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover such data, we delete it immediately. Additionally, as per EVegah safety rules, no person below 16 years of age is allowed to ride or drive any EVegah electric bike.
8. Cookies
Cookies are small data files stored on your device. EVegah may not use cookies explicitly in every service, but the App or third-party libraries may use cookies to collect information and improve their services. You can accept or refuse cookies. If you refuse cookies, some features may not work.
We may use cookies to:
- Remember your login session
- Help personalize services
- Understand browser compatibility
- Support newsletter delivery
- Generate analytics and traffic analysis
- Determine repeat or first-time visits
9. How Do We Use Your Information?
We use Personal and Non-Personal Information to process registrations, provide services, track bikes for safety/billing, communicate about accounts, respond to support issues, and personalized content. We also use it to produce anonymized reports, improve operations, update the App, and detect illegal activity.
10. With Whom is Your Information Shared?
Except as disclosed in this Privacy Policy, we do not disclose your Personal Information to any companies not part of EVegah or its parent, subsidiaries or related entities. We do not sell or rent Personal Information.
11. Third-Party Agents
We may use third-party agents for hosting, payments, notifications, analytics, customer support, and fraud protection. These entities access Personal Information only to perform their services and are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and security.
12. Emergency Situations and Legal Requirements
We may disclose Personal Information if required by law or to comply with legal processes, protect EVegah rights, user safety, and prevent fraud or illegal activity.
13. Data Storage and Transfer
Your information may be stored and processed in India or other locations where EVegah or its partners maintain facilities. By using EVegah services, you consent to such transfers.

EVegah takes strong precautions, including secure transmission and storage. However, transmission over the Internet can never be guaranteed 100% secure. You acknowledge and accept this risk.
15. Links to Third-Party Apps
Our App may contain links to third-party apps or offers. EVegah is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third-party services.
16. Governing Law
This App is published in India and primarily targeted for Indian users. EVegah seeks to comply with applicable Indian privacy and consumer laws.
17. Assignment
EVegah may change ownership or restructure. In such cases, user data may be transferred. We expect acquiring entities to follow this Policy, but cannot guarantee identical practices.
18. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as we add new features. We will not reduce protections for previously collected information without your consent.
19. Your Choices and Opt-Out
19.1 Collection of Personal Information
Providing personal information is voluntary, but refusing may limit access to services such as rentals or KYC-based unlocking.
19.2 Emails and Communications
You can opt out of promotional communications. However, EVegah may still send non-promotional messages related to service usage and legal notices.
19.3 Tracking & Cookies
You may disable cookies via browser settings, though some services may not function properly.
19.4 Review and Update
You may review/change account information in the App. Deletion might require account deletion.
Safety & User Responsibility
(Mandatory for All Riders)
20. Identity, KYC & Privacy
EVegah requires valid government-issued ID through UIDAI-authorized KYC partners. We do not store Aadhaar numbers, receive only tokenized status, and use it strictly for identity verification and safety. For privacy matters: info@evegah.com
21. Eligibility & Non-Transferability
EVegah vehicles are for the verified individual only. No person below 16 is permitted to ride. Violation results in a ₹50,000 penalty and legal proceedings.
22. Usage & Safety Instructions
Users must strictly follow guidelines for operation, charging, and app usage. Compliance ensures safety of the rider and vehicle.
23. Pre-Ride Inspection
Inspect brakes, tyres, and battery before every ride. Report defects immediately via App to avoid liability for damages.
24. General Care & Security
Maintain vehicle condition and always use the locking systems. Avoid hazardous environments like sea sand or flooded roads. Failure to take protective measures during extreme weather makes the renter liable.
25. Condition at Return
Return in the same condition as received. Daman region support: 89809 66343 & 89809 66376.
26. Accessories Responsibility
Responsible for helmets, locks, and chargers. Loss/damage costs minimum ₹500 or market price.
27. Damages & Third-Party Liability
Renter is fully responsible for vehicle damage and third-party injuries/property damage during use.
28. Personal Health & Accident Liability
EVegah does not provide personal insurance. Renters accept full responsibility for health, injury, or death risks.
29. Electric Component Protection
Protect electronics from rain, flooding, or extreme heat. Damage from exposure is fully chargeable.
30. Late Return
Late returns may forfeit security deposit. Continued delay is treated as unauthorized possession leading to late fees and legal action.
31. Sub-Leasing Prohibited
Re-renting or lending to third parties is strictly prohibited and constitutes a breach of contract.
32. Passenger Rules
Single-rider use only unless approved otherwise for specific models.
33. Smoking & Alcohol Prohibited
Strictly forbidden. Violations lead to suspension and financial penalties.
34. Illegal Activities
No unlawful use. Accounts will be terminated and reported to authorities.
35. Helmet & Safety Gear
Mandatory safety gear. Failure is considered unsafe operation leading to service termination.
36. Acceptance
Use of EVegah services confirms full agreement to Privacy, Safety, and Liability Terms.
